The first renewable hydrogen gigafactory
We are particularly proud of the outcome of this project, the crowning achievement of the H2V teams’ know-how and command of the various technical and administrative phases.
All stages, including site selection, a study of fauna and flora, consultations, the official preliminary consultation process and public inquiry, which were particularly demanding both in form and substance, have been completed successfully, resulting in us receiving the prefectural operating permit.
Our expertise is acknowledged by one of the sector’s giants who is starting the construction phase in 2022.
We are delighted to share our success with you and dare to stress that this success is, to date, the only one of its kind in the world!
A FIRST!
In 2021, the first gigafactory project to be developed by H2V, at Port-Jérôme in Normandy, received its prefectural operating permit!
Having received 3 approvals from the Investigating Commissioner and being passed unanimously by CODERST (local council for the environment and for health and technological risks), the 200MW renewable hydrogen mass production site enters its construction phase in 2022.
H2V is opting to produce on a mass scale so as to optimise production costs and develop a network of fuel stations for refuelling the entire region.
H2V is investing and developing today to meet the energy needs of tomorrow.
